Iga Ryu Ninjutsu

Iga Ryu Ninjutsu is a traditional Japanese system of survival strategy and martial training. Our curriculum draws from the classical “18 disciplines”, combining movement, unarmed skills, weapons principles, and situational awareness: taught with structure, control, and clear progression (white - black belt).

Ninja training: What's involved

1) Mokuso (quiet focus) : Settle the mind and sharpen presence before training.
2) Conditioning : Building endurance through traditional methods and smart progression.
3) Skill integration : Connect striking, grappling, movement and weapons principles into usable combinations.
4) Scenario training : Practice adapting under uncertainty: timing, distance, angles and decision-making.
5) Reflection : Take the learning beyond technique: what worked, what didn't and why.

Training first begins with 'state control'.
Breathe, focus and regulate to steadiness under uncertainty.

Conditioning

Endurance is the foundation. We build resilient legs, grip, breath control, and total-body conditioning so technique holds up under fatigue. The aim is mindful longevity: consistent training over time, not short bursts of ego-driven intensity.

Striking

Striking in ninjutsu is strategic. Students learn to practice being calmer to then manage distance, timing, angles, and intent. Through calmness and playfulness, one may have a higher chance to make decisions wisely.

Grappling

Grappling is the study of control. We train balance-breaking, positional awareness, escapes, and pressure with composure. Through precise mastery, students learn control, movement and decision-making. Control and precision is prioritised over brute force.
